Less hazardous waste, More greenery

Last June 5th was World Environment Day.
China Oilfield insists on solid waste reduction and resource utilization starting from the source. The tail gas treatment facility of the liquefied gas demercaptan unit put into use has a better regeneration effect of lye, reducing the amount of fresh lye added by 50%, and the resulting liquid hydrocarbon alkali residue is recycled for alkali injection in the sewage stripping unit, achieving 100% comprehensive utilization. After using high-efficiency air flotation in the sewage treatment plant, the amount of scum produced was reduced by 46%, and all the scum after concentration treatment entered the coking unit, realizing 100% recycling. The waste lubricating oil, waste white oil, sampling oil, etc. generated during the production and operation of the pump are guaranteed to be 100% recycled and refined.

For high-salt wastewater and sludge, the mechanical compression evaporation crystallization MVR technology was used to build and put into use the catalytic flue gas desulfurization sewage desalination project. With the blessing of "salt separation technology", not only near-zero discharge of sewage and near-zero generation of salt mud have been achieved, but also high-quality industrial finished salt has been separated, and the amount of miscellaneous salt disposed of by outsourcers has been reduced to less than 5%.

At the same time, we are constantly working on optimizing the operation of the gas thermal desorption sludge reduction device. At present, the moisture content and oil content of the dried sludge are stable below 5% and 2%, respectively, and the overall sludge reduction is over 80%.
The concept of "no waste" means that through green technology and control measures, the generation of various wastes will be minimized, resource utilization will be more adequate, disposal will be more standardized and safe, and ultimately sustainable green development will be achieved.
At sea, all the produced water brought by crude oil production is re-injected into the formation; the operational waste liquid generated by production maintenance, oil and water well operations, etc. is all recycled by special ships to land waste liquid treatment stations for disposal.
Today, ship-shaped cofferdams have become standard configurations at well workover sites in Chinese oilfields. The polyethylene anti-seepage membrane laid in the past was replaced once every operation and needed to be processed by a special waste shredder system, while the ship-shaped cofferdam was used for at least 4 years at a time. After the promotion, the oilfield reduced nearly 20,000 tons of hazardous waste every year, saving more than 30 million yuan in processing costs.
